Jason Duvall Hunter
The Hunt 4 Love Productions: (Founder, Writer, Producer, Director, Actor)
The concept of CYBERSEX-THE PLAY came to him more than 15 years ago before the era of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube. He takes on the taboo subject matter of childhood sexual abuse and how it impacts the child’s sexuality as an adult using the adult chat room in this play to tell this story. After attending The University of Buffalo Department of Theater and Dance under the guide of his main professor Stephen M Henderson he returned to NYC to pursue his acting career. He hit the ground running, not only was he acting in TV & film but he became involved in all aspects of theatre making, through taking on stage roles and working behind the scenes in Off Broadway Theatre Productions. He was instrumental in the development of an Off Broadway Theater company by the name of Curan Repertory Theater. This experience at Curan Rep. afforded him the opportunity to consistently work on his craft of acting, he also was involved in casting, directing, producing and ultimately became the Associate Artistic Director of that company. He is eternally grateful to Ken Terrell for providing him with this “master class” of hands on experiences. Mr Hunter created The Hunt 4 Love Productions to provide opportunities and artistic vehicles for “artist” to bring their “A” game to our productions and leave with a “A+” game. He is particularly proud of the "#Hunt4Love Supports Artist" campaign whose goal is to consciously & consistently seek opportunities to support fellow artist in the showbiz community. He is personally committed to being a face & raising his voice as a survivor of incest/molestation. He is honored to be on the Board of Directors of The O’Brien Dennis Foundation which focuses on helping other childhood abuse victim’s transition to being survivors and living fulfilling lives. Mr. Hunter is most proud of his participation in the Untold Stories: Men without Voices Photo Exhibit which was a fundraising event for the foundation. One of his main duties on the board was to create and facilitate a discussion/support group for men who have sexual abuse in common. This group is called "The Conversation" and is by far one of Mr. Hunter's most fulfilling achievements.
